Buffalo Hearing & Speech Center is holding a Chicken Barbecue on Friday, April 25, 2014 to raise funds for the BHSC Jump for Autism Event.
The Buffalo Hearing & Speech Center’s Early Childhood Program services children with disabilities ranging from 2–6 years of age.
One of the Center’s signature programs focuses on children with Autism Spectrum disorders, individuals requiring intensive educational supports to address delays in communication, social skills, learning as well as fine and gross motor skill development. Children enrolled in this program typically require many adaptive, therapeutic materials including trampolines, rocking chairs, weighted blankets/vests, etc., all of which are very costly.
To that end, the annual BHSC Jump for Autism Event is held not only to raise dollars to purchase materials and equipment but to raise community awareness regarding Autism.
Will you help us?
